Wonders of the world. Fansipan Mountain is located 9 km south-west of
Sapa in the Hoang Lien Townlet Mountain Range. Fansipan is branded "Roof
of Indochina" which rises to a height of 3143 m. Fansipan has been
proposed to be one of the few places eco-tourism of Vietnam, with
approximately 2024 flower varieties and 327 faunal species.
Peak
of Fansipan is accessible all year round. The best time to make the
ascent is from mid October to mid November, and again in March, when the
flowers grow and the climbers may behold a bright carpet of flowers,
violets and orchids, rhododendrons and aglaias. Fansipan Mountain also
contains fields such as Banawe famous terraced rice fields in the
Philippines.
